Generic Propecia works just like its brand name equivalent, by decreasing the amount of the naturally occurring hormone (DHT) in the scalp. This helps to limit hair loss and increases hair re-growth on the scalp without affecting hair growth on other parts of the body. In order to attain lasting and visible results you must take Generic Propecia daily, before meal and preferably at the same time each day. You must continue to use Generic Propecia to maintain any hair quantity. Men who stop using Generic Propecia should expect to lose any re-growth within twelve months.

Will it work?

Generic Propecia works in over 90% of cases, however the active ingredient in the drug can take between three and twelve months to show any noticeable results in the condition of your hair. Generic Propecia is a long-term medication and can take up to 2 years to fully stabilize. Does Generic Propecia have any side effects?

The active ingredient in Generic Propecia can be absorbed through the skin if the film on the pill is broken or the pill itself is crushed, therefore pregnant women or women planning to get pregnant should not handle this medicine. Drugs containing the active ingredient Finasteride can affect the results of blood tests measuring PSA levels (i.e., prostate cancer tests). If you're planning on taking a blood test you should inform your doctor or the laboratory staff at your clinic that you are taking Generic Propecia.
